Oil runs through Martin’s blood and he has a vibrant passion for New Zealand and in particular the South Island. He has a thorough understanding of the mining, quarrying and heavy transport industry. His career history includes two years selling Ampol Oil (now Caltex after merger in 1997), three years in sales promoting Total Oil and six years as Sales Manager for a Conveyor and Transmission company. He returned to the ‘new’ Oil Intel and over the past six years has progressed from branch manager for our Dunedin branch to Regional Manager with a territory that covers Timaru – Southland.

He has an extensive technical knowledge of lubricants and applications.
Martin has worked with a number of food processing and manufacturing companies including Cadbury’s. He was an integral part of the transition team when the company went from using general lubes to food grade lubricants.

Martin is an active member of the IOQ and AQA and was appointed Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 2013 Quarry Conference.
