Oil Intel have launched Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 in New Zealand: the newest addition to Total’s heavy-duty diesel engine oils. Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 is API CK-4 and will replace Rubia TIR 7900 15W-40, Rubia Optima 15W-40 and Rubia Works 2000 10W-40.
Rubia Works 4000 is tailored to the most recent American, European and Japanese engines. It suits a wide variety of systems: with or without post-treatment – such as diesel particulate filters or DENOX catalysers – and in both off-road and on-road applications. Recommended for engines equipped with after-treatment systems, Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 meets Off-highway Euro Stage IV and US EPA Tier 4F as well as Euro 6 standards for On-road applications.
Designed to endure long working periods, the Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 ensures maximum OEM drain interval recommendations are met (or exceeded), even in the most severe operating conditions. It’s exceptional level of thermal and viscometric stability is attributable to its high level of oxidation and shearing resistance and exceeds the standards required for API CK-4.
